Houston, Texas — Most of you are familiar with ESPN’s “This is SportsCenter” commercials by now. Well now your Houston Dynamo have starred in a similar one.

ESPN’s commercials typically involve things like LeBron James being unable to sit in his cubicle complete with throne, instead, having to sit in a miniature chair; Calvin Johnson in full Lions garb talking to employee’s by a water cooler; and Scott Van Pelt thinking he’s been duped into a conference call that isn’t taking place.

Mascot’s can’t talk Scott! You’re not being ignored! Too late, he’s hung up the phone!

Recently Dynamo stars Brad Davis, Kofi Sarkodie, Giles Barnes and Tyler Deric starred in a similarly hilarious commercial for Houston’s CBS SportsRadio 610.

The commercial is titled “No Hands” and you can watch it below.

Now, will somebody ask Kofi about his three bean salad?

In other Dynamo news this week Houston became the first Major League Soccer team to team up with mobile app “Reply Buy.” Once users sign up Reply Buy enables you to be prompted about ticket availability by text message and enables consumers to buy said tickets simply by replying via text message!

Dynamo fans who sign up for the new service will be entered into a competition to win four tickets to the Dynamo Charities Cup game versus Manchester City at BBVA Compass Stadium on May 28th.

Rounding off this brief Houston Dynamo update is news that Erick Torres will not be in the Mexico squad that goes to the Copa America. I have been vocal about the fact that he would likely not be included on twitter, the most likely possibility at this time is that he will play in the Pan-American games this summer in Toronto which kicks off on July 10 running through until July 26.

Obviously Dynamo fans have been wondering about when Cubo will finally make his first appearance in a Dynamo jersey and the answer is: We simply just wont know until he’s here. Many factors are in play; his contract with Chivas, Chivas’ playoff run, whether he represents Mexico or not.

As it stands unless Erick “Cubo” Torres’ loan deal with Chivas Guadalajara is terminated by the LigaMX outfit before the expiration date on June 30th 2015, he will remain in Mexico before returning to his parent club on July 1st.
