The home team protested an uncalled penalty in this play still with Orlando only one goal up, the ref was very criticized by the fans all game. Chants of “f#ck the Ref” were heard repeatedly.

The penalty was called on a last dash rush by Kwarasey, the Portland keeper stopped the first penalty, but the referee had it taken again because Portland defender Borchers had entered the area. Kaka scored on the repeat to the final 2-0.

Porter had Fernandez enter the game for Vilafana, Ridgewell took on the left defender role on a 3 man line. Fernandez revitalized the attack creating chances but with not enough time to make a dent in the game.
