Finally, some matches to talk about!

Radio Cascadia releases its first episode reviewing real matches in a little more than three months. The crew goes in-depth on Seattle’s 3-0 win over New England. Ari Liljenwall of MLSsoccer.com adds his two cents on Seattle’s back four and the Dempsey-Martins pairing. His pick for the Seattle-San Jose match is a must-listen.

John Marshall of San Jose stops by to preview the Sounders’ second match this year from the visitors’ perspective. He speaks to the changes the Quakes made this offseason and predicts how they’ll line up come Saturday.

The crew laments Portland’s inability to take their chances and punish Real Salt Lake. Analysis of Portland’s defensive midfield and centerback pairing leads into a preview of their match against LA this weekend.

Aaron Campbell of Vancouver reviews the Whitecaps’ 3-1 loss to TFC on opening day. We go over his Top 2 Bottom 2 piece, which ran on Prost Amerika earlier this week. Campbell tries to put the disappointing start behind the club, and talks about what they’ll have to do to win in Chicago for the first time.
