Tickets for U.S. Women’s National Team Match at Avaya Stadium Go On Sale March 27

Earthquakes Season Ticket Holder Presale to be Held March 25

SAN JOSE, Calif. – U.S. Soccer and the San Jose Earthquakes announced today that tickets for the United States Women’s National Team match at Avaya Stadium will go on sale March 27. The U.S. faces the Republic of Ireland at Avaya Stadium on May 10 at 11:30 a.m. PT.

Tickets are available through ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area (including Walmart and Chavez Supermarkets). Earthquakes season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets in a presale on March 25, followed by the public on sale date of March 27 at 10 a.m. PT. Avaya Stadium will play host to the first of three Send-Off Series Games for the United States’ Women’s National Team prior to departing for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada. In addition to the match against the Republic of Ireland, the national team will take on Mexico on Sunday, May 17, at 6:30 p.m. PT, at StubHub Center in Carson, California, and Korea Republic on Saturday, May 30, at 4:30 p.m. ET, at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.

Following the Algarve Cup, the WNT returns home to play New Zealand on Saturday, April 4, at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. The match will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT and be broadcast on FOX Sports 1. More than 30,000 tickets have been sold, the most for a stand-alone WNT home game in the program’s 30-year history.

This summer, the USA will face Australia, Sweden and Nigeria in Group D at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The USA opens against Australia on June 8 at Winnipeg Stadium, followed by Sweden on June 12 in Winnipeg and Nigeria on June 16 at BC Place in Vancouver.
