TYC Sports of Argentina is reporting that Javier Saviola will play for Sounders FC from June of 2013.

The Buenos Aires born striker has 40 caps for Argentina, the last in 2007 with 11 goals. His previous clubs include Barcelona, Monaco, Sevilla, Real Madrid, Benfica and Malaga, his most recent club.
He is 31 and 5′ 6″ and retired from international football in 2009.
We have no independent confirmation and the player is still listed on the Malaga website.
The club’s twitter feed has made no mention of it.
