Bainbridge Island’s Dylan Tucker-Gangnes has made a sufficient impression in his performance against Seattle and in training to convince Caleb Porter he is good enough to be a Portland Timber.

He played 28 minutes against Seattle, his first competitive action having not played in the previous two games.

The UW product played for Portland Under 23s last year appearing in 13 matches logging 1,047 minutes.

On Monday forward Brent Richards underwent a successful arthroscopy of his left knee late to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and a lateral meniscus tear.

Richards, 22, is expected to be out approximately six months. He sustained the injury during training Jan. 26 in Portland.
