Too bad 100 years old wasn’t a mature enough age for US soccer to outgrow the three stars in the crest. Am I the only one that thinks they look like we are claiming 3 world cup victories?

Yes, you are. The World Cup stars are gold and go above the crest, not in it. I don’t mind the crest we have now, but would have liked to see something special for our centennial year. And maybe get rid of the flying soccer ball too…
