Before the kick off in Seattle last Sunday, the Sounders assembled in their customary pre match huddle.
No-one outside the squad knows exactly what was said, but we do know who was saying it. Brandon Bleek bravely inched in and caught Sounders longest serving and scariest warrior Zach Scott bellowing out the last minute exhortations with every sinew of his face stretched.
Bleek caught Scott’s jaw fully down as he raised his words to their full volume to be heard over the 44,000 plus crowd.

Yes, ESPN showed Zach Scott’s pre-game talk on the halftime show. It involved his grandmother and leaving it all on the field.
As of late Sunday night or early Monday morning, the whole game including the halftime show was available via WatchESPN.
