Speaking after training yesterday, he declared himself “fine for tomorrow” despite Jason Kreis’ hesitation in confirming that. For the coach it was still a game day decision.

You can also expect to see the large centre half volunteering to take a penalty shoot out should the need arise.

Prost Amerika: Obviously you watched most of the first leg and then came on. Are you a good spectator?

Jamison Olave: (Laughs). It’s bad to be out of the game. Now I’m fine for tomorrow. I will give my 100% for the last game and win this game. We’ll see.

Prost Amerika: Kwame Watson-Siriboe had a very good game in Seattle. Does that put more pressure on you to train harder and play harder because you know you might lose your place if he keeps playing well?

Jamison Olave: My pressure is to play good, play good. That (performance) was good for him, that’s good for the team. That the other guys, when we are out, they play good but that’s for us. That’s for our team. Play good, and win the game. That’s all we need.

Prost Amerika: The rumour from Seattle is that Eddie Johnson will play. How do you feel about playing against him?

Jamison Olave: He’s a good player. With a good player they will try to find him and cross the ball but we have to be focused on that, because that just one dangerous player that they have.

Prost Amerika: There’s a small chance this might go to penalties. Are you one of the defenders that volunteers to take one?

Jamison Olave: (Laughs). Of course, 100 percent. If we take it to that disatnce. I will have to take one.

Prost Amerika: Have you talked about that?

Jamison Olave: Yeah. Every time.

Prost Amerika: And have you been practising them?

Jamison Olave: I did, yeah.

Prost Amerika: So as long as you keep another clean sheet you’re confident in Nick and yourself?

Jamison Olave: (Laughs). He’s very good at  PKs, I’m sure!
