Galaxy Slump to Ninth in Western Table by Points per Game

This weekend’s results will bring cheer in certain parts of California. But not where any of us would have expected it, not at LA Galaxy. For it was the other two state sides that scooped maximum points, both at the expense of Cascadian opposition.

That leaves the Western Conference table with a surprising look with RSL and San Jose streaking away with 2.50 and 2.40 PPG respectively.

Despite their derby loss, Colorado hold onto third with Seattle fourth at 1.80 and 1.75.

Seattle v Colorado and LA Galaxy v Portland are the two intra conference matches next weekend, but most eyes will be on the battle of the Conference leaders, Real Salt Lake and Sporting Kansas City, who meet at LIVESTRONG Field next Saturday.
