Marshall will be Marshalling Someone Else
No Repeat of Last Seasons Photo Op
Sadly this a photograph opportunity that won’t happen again. Columbus’ Chad Marshall has been ruled out due to a strain in his left hamstring. Also not traveling is Argentinian Gino Padula.
The good news is that Tyrone can resume his fascinating battle with Steven Lenhart. Lenhart came on in the 79th minute in last season’s game, replacing Emmanuel Ekpo who hasn’t traveled either. After an elbow, push and punch contest, referee Michael Kennedy sent Tyrone Marshall off in the 94th minute, the eagle-eyed linesman David Bragg having seen Marshall’s hook from his inception somewhere north of Pioneer Square.
Lenhart, who was mentioned by Grant Wahl on a recent Radio Sounders broadcast as the likely breakout star of 2010, has had a good season so far and is likely to play from the start.
Keep your eyes on this one.
