Sounders Content Aplenty This Weekend on Prost Amerika

Good Bars to Watch Soccer in Seattle
Saturday, March 13, 2010

There’s a good reason to log in and log on to Prost Amerika this weekend. Coming up tomorrow, we will have brand new Radio Sounders post game show looking back at the match, both on and off the pitch.

We get reaction from Terry Boss to the picture of his incredible save being voted Prost Amerika Photo of the Year, and he also talks about learning his trade from Kasey Keller. Clue – he doesn’t say it’s a bad thing. Lastly, he deals with the trauma of a life with a surname that lends itself to nicknames. Would you rather have Alcaraz-Cuellar, Hugo?

There are player ratings (now posted) for the Thursday night friendly on their way. Both sides are reviewed by Kitsap Pumas assistant coach James Ritchie who joined PA in the press box for the first time.

Henderson: We Were College Kids Playing against Baggio

Perhaps the highlight of the weekend will be a fascinating interview with Sounders FC Technical Director Chris Henderson who was one of the architects of the soccer side of this entire franchise, as well as being part of the USA squad at the 1990 World Cup. He talks Sounders, USA and MLS with a depth of knowledge few can match. It’s a fascinating conversation and well worth downloading.

The first edition of Radio Sounders looking back on the Portland match is now posted and the Chris Henderson interview will appear tomorrow.
