Daniel Scott, brother of Sounders FC’s left back Zach, has joined up with the Kitsap Pumas in Bremerton moving from the Wolves, now Washington Crossfire.
Scott played the past two seasons in the PDL with Tacoma in 2007 and with the Seattle Wolves in 2008. The 24-year-old has amassed a diverse collection of accolades including:
2007 All-West Coast Conference 2nd Team (college junior)
2008 Tacoma Tide Northwest Division Champions (college senior)
2009 Captain, Seattle Wolves; All Western Conference First Team
2009 PDL National Team of the Year; Finalist for league Defender of the Year
Scott, a native of Hakiu, Maui, HI, is a graduate of Gonzaga University and was a four-year starter.
Danny said, “I’m fortunate and blessed to be given this opportunity to be a part of the Pumas organisation. We share many common goals and realize that through hard work and determination these goals can be achieved. To be in a position to pursue a professional soccer career is a blessing and I’d like to thank my family, my girlfriend and my coaches.”
Assistant Pumas coach James Ritchie is very keen on the player and points out that Danny has a great deal of ball playing skill for a defender.
