Zach Scott

Zach Scott Dreaming about Seattle from a Maui Beach

Our friends in the Official Zach Scott fan club have informed us that Zach’s operation in Philadelphia has been a total success. Zach was released from the hospital in Philadelphia late yesterday. He had returned to the specialist who repaired his abdominal hernia in May.

At the time of that injury in May, he was told he’d also need “adductor release” surgery. The recovery time for that surgery was significant so Zach had chosen to wait until the end of the season, opting instead to play out the season with pain.

The doctor said everything went perfectly and Zach should be pain-free and 100% by February in time for the 2010 season. Zach is now focused on getting healthy and challenging for a starting spot next season. But first he has the unenviable and horrific task of relaxing on a beach in Maui in Hawaii, his family home. A real son of a beach! (Sorry Zach!)

Prost Amerika would like to wish Zach well on his recovery and hopes to see him back in the jersey as soon as possible.
